took dog to the vets today- vet was surprised at how old he was. she dressed his leg because he’d been chewing at it (he got hit by a car when he was younger and had to have pins in that leg), and he’s been put on a course of anti biotics and some stronger pain meds (stronger than the ones he’s been on for his arthritis). we’ve also had to switch him to soft canned food, because his teeth made it difficult for him to eat dried food.
the best we can do for him is keep him comfortable and fed and happy- i’m still very worried, since he’s very underweight and has so many health problems. but the vet seemed optimistic, soo
at least we didnt have to have him put down
have you ever just wanted to bitch and whine about shit you have to put up with but everyones already putting up with three times the amount of bullshit you are so you just sort of feel bad for even considering complaining at all
